Some of our History...
U2R1 Wedding Cars is a family run business, started by Noel O Connell in 2007. When the recession started, Noel pursued his interest in cars to another level, he bought a 1949 Daimler Empress and decided to advertise this timeless classic for weddings.
The Empress and the wedding car business proved to be very popular and we soon needed to add more cars to meed demand.
We have continued to expand our wedding car fleet to meet the growing demand and over the years various vintage, classic, and modern cars have been added: a 1932 Rolls Royce, Jaguars, BMWs, Regents, and a Mercedes.
Noel ran the business with the help of his daughter Ashling and son in law Karl and the company has grown from strength to strength winning numerous National Awards for the Best Irish Wedding Transport Provider.
When Noel suddenly passed away in 2022, Ashling and Karl took over the business. Their commitment to providing the best possible customer service has paid off. In 2023 they won again the prestigious title of “The Best Irish Wedding Transport Provider”.
